Manage labels

Create, assign, filter by, and remove the colored labels that organize your reports

Labels are colored, named tags you attach to reports to group them your own way: by campaign, client, quarter, or owner. You create the labels, assign as many as you like to a report, and filter the list down to the ones that carry a given label. This page covers all of it.

You create labels from the same Labels dialog you use to assign them:

  1. In the report list, hover a report and select Assign label, or select Assign label in the toolbar of an open report.
  2. In the Labels dialog, select Add label.
  3. Give it a name and pick a color. The color shows as a colored dot on the report’s labels.
  4. Save. The label is created and ready to assign.
  1. In the report list, hover the report and select Assign label, or select Assign label in the toolbar of an open report.
  2. In the Labels dialog, search for a label and select it to switch it on. Switch on as many as apply; a report can carry more than one.
  3. To make a new label here, select Add label and give it a name and color.
  4. Select Apply. The labels appear as colored chips on the report.
  1. In the report list, open the Labels filter.
  2. Select one or more labels. The list narrows to the reports that carry all of the ones you selected.
  3. Clear the selection to see every report again.
  1. In the Labels filter, open the menu next to the label.
  2. Select Edit to rename it or change its color, then save. The change applies everywhere the label is used.
  3. Select Delete to remove it, and confirm when asked. Removing a label takes it off every report that carried it, but the reports themselves are untouched.
