Insights Chat

How Insights Chat answers questions about your workspace data in plain language

Insights Chat is a conversational assistant that answers questions about your workspace data in plain language. You ask a question the way you’d ask a colleague (“How did last month’s campaigns compare to the month before?”), and it replies with a written answer and live charts, built from the same metrics and dimensions your dashboards already use. The chat is one of the two ways to use SEINō Insights.

SEINō Insights is off until you enable it. The first time you open the chat, select Enable AI Insights and consent to your workspace data being processed by our AI assistant. The same consent covers scheduled insights too. See Setup for what’s processed and why.

You type a question in the chat. It queries your datasets and answers in place: a short written explanation alongside the charts, tables, and timelines it builds from the result. It draws only on data already in your workspace, so its answers stay consistent with your dashboards and target plans.

You can type @ in a question to name a specific metric or dimension exactly, rather than describing it in words. Each answer keeps its place in the conversation, so you can follow up (“now split that by channel”) without starting over.

The chat is built for questions about how your data is moving, not only what a single number is. Try prompting it to:

  • “Break revenue down by campaign for last month.”
  • “Show the trend of open rate over the last 12 weeks, split by market.”
  • “Which campaigns performed best on click rate in Q2?”
  • “Flag any days where unsubscribes were unusually high.”

Because every answer comes from your connected data, an answer is only as complete as the datasets in your workspace. The chat can also make mistakes, so double-check a number before you act on it.

Every conversation is saved in the sidebar under Chats, so you can reopen one and continue where you left off, or start a fresh one with New Chat. To remove a conversation, open its menu and select Delete.
