Campaigns

Understand how campaign activity from different channels and sources comes together in SEINō

The Campaigns dataset includes email activity in most cases. It can also include campaigns from other channels your connected marketing platform uses, such as SMS or app push. SEINō generally supports all the channels used by that platform. Other data sources can add results by matching UTM parameters in click events or using a customer identifier.

Your connected marketing platforms supply campaign activity and its details. The Integrations overview shows the sources you can connect. A workspace can have more than one source, so the channels and fields you see depend on what each integration provides. Multiple integrations in one workspace explains how their data can work together.

Dimensions let you group or filter campaign results. Common examples are the send date, campaign name, and channel. Some integrations also provide details such as a journey, message type, or UTM values. The available fields depend on your connected sources and workspace setup.

Metrics measure campaign activity and results. Depending on the source and channel, these can include messages sent or delivered, opens, clicks, and conversions. A metric appears only when a connected source supplies the data needed to calculate it. For example, open metrics may not apply to every channel.

Campaign results can gain website, purchase, or other performance data from another connected source. SEINō uses matching information, such as UTM parameters from click events or a customer identifier, to associate that data with campaign activity. What can be matched depends on the sources and their configuration.

For example, website analytics can add sessions, transactions, or revenue when its data matches a campaign. Other connected systems can add their own measures. The Campaigns dataset brings the matching results together without requiring every source to have the same fields.
