See website sessions, purchases, and revenue in SEINō, including results matched to campaigns
A Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integration brings website activity into your SEINō workspace. Connect a GA4 property to add website and product performance data, and to relate that activity to campaigns from your connected email platform.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need to be a workspace administrator to add a GA4 property. Choose one of two ways to grant SEINō access: sign in with a Google account that can manage access to the property, or ask a GA4 administrator to add the service account created for your workspace as a Viewer. You also need an email platform integration if you want GA4 activity matched to individual sends.
Connect a GA4 property with your Google account
Section titled “Connect a GA4 property with your Google account”Use your Google account to select a property and grant the workspace service account access through the Google Analytics API.
- In SEINō, open your workspace’s Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics and enable the integration.
- Under Connect GA4 properties, select Sign in with Google and sign in with an account that can grant access to the property.
- Find the property in the list and select Add. SEINō grants its workspace service account Viewer access and adds the property to your workspace.
If Google says you cannot grant access, use the administrator route below.
Connect a GA4 property through a GA4 administrator
Section titled “Connect a GA4 property through a GA4 administrator”Use this route when someone else manages access to the GA4 property.
- In SEINō, open Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics and enable the integration.
- Copy the workspace service account email shown under Connect GA4 properties.
- Ask a GA4 administrator to add that email as a Viewer on the property you want to connect.
- Return to SEINō, refresh the property list if needed, then select Add beside the property.
The service account email looks like your-workspace@seino-ai.iam.gserviceaccount.com. The part before @ varies by workspace, so give the administrator the exact email shown in SEINō rather than copying this example or an address from another workspace.
Check that data is arriving
Section titled “Check that data is arriving”After adding your property, open the data explorer and select Google Analytics. Choose a date range when your website had visitors. The first import can take some time, so data might not appear immediately.
If you still see no data after the next refresh, check that the property is selected under Connect GA4 properties. If SEINō says Property no longer accessible, ask your GA4 administrator to restore Viewer access for the workspace service account. Then select Reconnect.
Refresh cadence
Section titled “Refresh cadence”SEINō syncs GA4 data multiple times a day. A newly connected property needs an initial import before its data appears in reports. After that, new activity appears following a later sync, rather than immediately after it is recorded in GA4.
What GA4 adds to your workspace
Section titled “What GA4 adds to your workspace”GA4 adds data to the Campaigns dataset and can provide three more datasets. These are the standard fields. Your workspace may have additional fields or a different report configuration.
Campaigns dataset
Section titled “Campaigns dataset”GA4 adds website results to sends from your connected email platform when their UTM parameters match. The Campaigns dataset also has the fields supplied by that platform; the tables below describe what GA4 adds.

| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Sessions | Website visits recorded in campaign reporting. |
| Engaged sessions | Those visits GA4 counts as engaged. |

On request, SEINō can also add selected GA4 key events as metrics. This helps you measure specific actions on your website alongside campaign performance. Contact SEINō support with the key events you want to track.
