Set up the integration
Section titled “Set up the integration”The Spotler Mail+ integration uses a consumer key and consumer secret to authenticate with the Mail+ REST API.
Create API credentials in Spotler Mail+
Section titled “Create API credentials in Spotler Mail+”Create REST API credentials in your Mail+ account before connecting it to SEINō.
- Create an integration in Spotler Mail+.
- Copy its consumer key and consumer secret.
- Store both values securely until you have added them to SEINō.
Spotler’s MailPlus REST API documentation explains how the credentials authenticate your Mail+ account.
Connect Spotler Mail+ to SEINō
Section titled “Connect Spotler Mail+ to SEINō”Add the Mail+ credentials from your account to the integration settings in SEINō.
- Open Settings → Integrations → Spotler Mail+ in your SEINō workspace.
- Select Enable. Select Add account instead if another Mail+ account is already connected.
- Enter an account name that identifies the Mail+ account in reports.
- Enter the consumer key and consumer secret.
- Select Confirm.
SEINō checks the credentials before saving the account. The account appears in the integration after the connection succeeds.
Refresh schedule
Section titled “Refresh schedule”SEINō processes Spotler Mail+ event files approximately every three hours.
Limits and notes
Section titled “Limits and notes”- Mail+ provides send, bounce, open, and click events through separate interaction feeds. Unsubscribes come from the mailing totals.
- Mail+ does not identify machine opens or bot clicks in the data used by this integration.
- UTM dimensions are available only when the clicked URL contains the matching UTM parameter.
- SEINō matches events to messages using the available mailing details. Reused or missing identifiers can affect that match.
- For an email-enabled contact without an external ID, SEINō writes the encrypted Mail+ contact ID to the external ID field. Existing external IDs remain unchanged.
- Contact snapshots are retained as history. A completed daily snapshot is not rewritten.
Why did the Mail+ connection fail?
Check that the consumer key and consumer secret belong to the same active Mail+ integration. Enter both values again, then select Confirm.
Why does the account appear without campaign data?
Campaign data appears after SEINō imports mailing interactions. Check again after the next refresh. Contact support@seino.ai if the account remains empty.
Why did a contact receive an external ID?
SEINō uses the encrypted Mail+ contact ID when an email-enabled contact has no external ID. SEINō does not replace an existing external ID.
