How scheduled insights run the AI assistant on a schedule and deliver the result to you
Scheduled insights run the AI assistant on a schedule and deliver the result to you, without your having to ask. You write a prompt once (“summarize this week’s abandoned carts”), set how often it runs and where the result is delivered, and each run arrives on its own. Scheduled insights are one of the two ways to use SEINō Insights.
SEINō Insights is off until you enable it. The first time you open it, select Enable AI Insights and consent to your workspace data being processed by our AI assistant. The same consent covers the chat too. See Setup for what’s processed and why.
How scheduled insights work
Section titled “How scheduled insights work”A scheduled insight pairs a prompt with a schedule and one or more delivery channels. On each run, the assistant answers the prompt against your current workspace data (the same metrics and dimensions the chat uses) and sends the written result to your channels.
You choose how often it runs, in your own timezone: daily, weekly, or monthly. Before you schedule it, you can run it once to preview the result, so you know what will be delivered.
Delivery
Section titled “Delivery”A scheduled insight can deliver to one or more channels at once:
- Email: the result arrives as a formatted email in your inbox.
- Webhook: the result is posted to a URL you provide, so another system can pick it up.
Run history
Section titled “Run history”Every run is kept. Open a scheduled insight to see when it last ran, whether it succeeded, and the result each run produced.
